Step 1: Choices
The Big Picture:
Which projector should you get?
Ultra Short Throw (UST), Short Throw (ST), Mini/Amazon
Which computing device should you use?
Computer, iPad/tablet, smart phone
Chromebook is not recommended but if it’s your only option, treat it as a tablet
If you already own a projector, watch to find out if it will work for your space. If not, watch to see which one to buy.
If you only have a phone, that’s also an easy choice. If you have multiple options, watch to see the pros and cons of each and decide which you’ll use.
You’ll also need power cords and may need a cord or a wireless casting device (again, watch for more info on those) so now is the time to make sure you already own or have ordered each piece you’ll need.
Also needed are cutting mat (or printable, see button), table (or floor), rotary cutter, magnets or weights, helpful to have a quilting ruler.
Use the buttons below to choose the option that fits your chosen set up the best. You’ll get a checklist and the next few steps tailored to that set up.
