How to Join Discord

If you haven’t already joined Discord, the following steps should help you get started. Step 3 takes you back to book a class or consult.

STEP 1: Join Discord

My classes will be hosted on a program called Discord. I went through a lot of options and asked my IT guy (that’s my brother) a lot of questions and we eventually settled on Discord as the best option. I know this means you have to download and learn yet another program but I’ve made a video to walk you through it and I promise it’s fairly painless.

If you already have a Discord account, I just ask that you download the actual program onto your computer and join my server. In order to share screens and for everything to work as seamlessly as we are hoping for, downloading the program onto your computer will give the best results.

STEP 2: Join my Discord Server

Once you’ve downloaded Discord and have logged in, your next step is to join the Dailey Sews & Stuff server. It’s really simple, there’s a giant plus sign on the left side of the screen. Click that then click the button at the bottom of the pop up screen that says “join a server.” Paste the link below and click “Join Server” and you’re in!

Joining the server doesn’t get you into a class but it does get you officially on the waitlist and allows me to add you to a class as soon as you purchase it.

STEP 3: Book Your Consult or Class

Last step! Once you’re ready to join a class and there is one offered at a day/time that works for you, go to the website below and buy a ticket for class. The website will automatically limit the class to 5 people and I’ll be able to list new classes at new days/times as I open those up. Please do not be discouraged if the first day/time doesn’t work for you, I have taken all of your responses on the Google Form into consideration and plan to offer many other days and times in the next several months.
